Trust in Him

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: (Psalms 63:5 KJV)

Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. (Psalms 37:3-7 KJV)

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. (Ephesians 1:4-6 KJV)

Read Psalm 63:5 again.

David says his soul is satisfied in God. We want to be fully satisfied in God! We want to learn from David. When we fix our eyes upon Christ and on Him alone, we find a depth of satisfaction and delight known no other way. We glorify Him, and He is glorified through us.

Read Psalm 37:3-7.

Make a mental list or text a list to yourself of the instructions given and the promises made. Taking the Lord at His Word, periodically review this list during the day. Also, you can copy them onto a sticky note and place the list where you can see it regularly, and put these instructions into practice this week. Meditate and pray through the words. If you keep a journal, make a note of what the Lord teaches you. Be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Delight yourself in the LORD!

Read Ephesians 1:4-6. If you are a believer in Jesus, God's Word tells you that He chose you in Christ before the foundation of the world, that you would be holy and blameless in His sight. In His great love for you, He adopted you through Jesus Christ, for His glory! If He did all of this, nothing is impossible for Him. Do not hesitate in asking Him for all you need in Christ! He has already accomplished it! Trust Him and trust in His Word!

Like yesterday, choose one scripture from today that the Lord is using to renew your mind and transform your heart. Take this truth to heart and bring it to life throughout your day.
